Please join Dane4Dogs and Crystal Heath, DVM, for an exploration of the current regulatory bodies that exist to protect dogs used in experimentation and explore conditions inside a local laboratory and discuss whether the conditions present are acceptable. We will discuss how entrenched economic interests limit the rapidity of humane transitions and explore cultural considerations within the scientific community that create psychological barriers to change.
