For my birthday, I am raising funds for Our Honor, a non-profit organization that empowers and supports veterinarians, veterinary students, and animal professionals who face bullying and retaliation while advocating for the best interest of all species. 

This year, Our Honor has had some amazing wins! Our Honor brought together veterinarians to oppose the cruel practice of the mass killing of animals via heatstroke. Veterinarians joined together to sign a statement about the suffering experienced by pigs inside carbon dioxide gas chambers, the most common form of killing pigs during slaughter in the United States.

Our Honor raised awareness about terminal laboratories still used in veterinary schools and empowered students to be conscientious objectors to these unethical laboratories. 

Our Honor brought together veterinarians and animal professionals to support declaw bans, rodeo bans and brought together signers of an amicus brief in support of California's proposition 12 being heard by the United States Supreme Court.
